Connect a wired or Bluetooth headset before pressing start.
Press the start button to start the delayed auditory feedback.
Start talking and listen to how your voice sounds.
To add a delay to your voice move the delay slider to the right to increase the delay in milliseconds (ms).
To change the pitch of your voice move the pitch slider to the left to lower it and to the right to raise it.
Setting the slider to the centre will leave your pitch unchanged.
To change the volume use the normal volume buttons on your device and the volume slider.
Change the delay, pitch and volume settings separately and then trial combinations to find out what helps you the most.
There is no best setting, what works best will differ from person to person.
Also try changing the settings if you find the effectiveness of DAF Professional reducing over time.
To record you voice press the record button and then stop button to stop recording.
You can playback your recording by pressing the playback button.
Press the book icon to read aloud from "The Rainbow Passage" to hear how your voice sounds.
Practice using DAF Professional in a variety of situations, such as one on one conversations, larger groups and quieter/louder environments as you may need to adjust the settings to be effective.
